This new production draws on Gaelic Irish, English and French sources from the early days of the Wild Geese to the music of O’Carolan, the 17th century blind Irish harpist and composer; to songs of the 1789 French Revolution.
To some of the better known Irish characters who worked lived and some cases died in France such as Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, William Butler Yeats and Dublin’s controversial writer Brendan Behan.
It will be performed in Nicky’s Bar in Dowlings Caravan Park at 10pm on the Friday night. Worth checking out!
